I have absolutely zero experience with 3D-printers. Never even seen one. However, my local library has 5, and so I was thinking that perhaps I’d print out a 3D space-filling curve, or a Sierpinski’s tetrahedron, or some other three-dimensional fractal or mathematically interesting shape. Perhaps for a Christmas present, but frankly I don’t really expect it’ll be ready by then. What should I know? I checked out Thingiverse, but I couldn’t find anything. Any other websites, or should I just design it myself? I know that’ll take ages, especially for somebody with minimal (but not no) experience with design, but if there is one thing in this universe I love, it is math, so I think I could persevere if only for the beauty math. http://ift.tt/2A0jFcL
