Printing ABS on borosilicate with hairspray – prints cool and pop off glass – bringing chips of glass with it!
Howdy, been 3D printing for a couple years now. I’ve begun printing with ABS lately and found that Aquanet hairspray on borosilicate glass is giving me great adhesion. I don’t even have to pry the prints off – as soon as they cool they POP off the glass.Unfortunately, in the last week I’ve noticed that the prints were bringing shards of glass with them, rendering the bed unusable. I’m printing at 225c with the bed at 100c.Has anybody else encountered this? I’ve flipped the glass over and tried my best to re-adhere the heated element to the bottom but it’s bound to happen again I’m certain.Any tips? http://ift.tt/2ftz63F
